SIRCONTEC floor acoustic in the form of a graph can be found on our web site in the section Download titled DS 209 – Acoustic. The graph describes dependence of the standard level of step noise on the thickness of the steel-concrete ceiling slab and the type of the wear layer.

Measurements and following calculations confirmed results of partial measurements of floor compositions containing foam concrete as the levelling layer and foam polyethylene as the level contributing to the step-noise dampening.

The graph is intended mainly for designers and site managers and it should help them get oriented in the issue of the floor acoustic.

The values read on the graph are valid under the condition that all sound-transferring bridges are eliminated in the SIRCONTEC floor composition.
